How can I create multiple Codemagic applications from the same repository?
Last updated: February 4, 2026
Context
You may want to build and publish different iOS and Android apps from a single GitHub/Bitbucket/Gitlab repository. When trying to add the already connected app in Codemagic from the same repo through the GitHub/Bitbucket/Gitlab integrations, the standard selection flow may prevent choosing the same repository again.
Answer
To add another Codemagic application that points to the same e.g. GitHub repository, use the “Others” option when adding the app. This bypasses the restriction and lets you connect the same repo again, so you can configure separate workflows for each app target.
In Codemagic, click Add application.
When prompted to select the source, choose Others.
Connect to the same GitHub repository using its link and complete the setup.
